  • Georgia & Isaac - Race for Life

    Georgia and Isaac wanted to say a massive thank-you to everyone who has supported and sponsored their race for life.

    They completed their 5km race on Sunday and it was a hot one. Isaac completed it in 30 mins and Georgia 50 mins.

    They raised £392.00 ( of which £167 was made from the doughnut sale  )  together with the two other previous races we have completed, the total they have raised for cancer research UK is £1054.00!

  • King Charles III Coronation Celebrations

    On Friday May 5th we spent the day celebrating the upcoming Coronation of King Charles III. We have been drawing portraits, making crowns, making and eating jam sandwiches and decorating cupcakes. We also shared our lunch all together in the hall for the first time in months!

    Each child will be coming home with these commemorative items from the school.

  • Easter Egg Donations for Stowmarket Food Bank

    Thank you for all the donations of Easter eggs and chocolate for Stowmarket Food Bank. We are always so amazed at the generosity of our school community and know that the local families receiving items from the food bank are always very grateful.

  • World Book Day 2023 - Potatoes!

    A fantastic selection of potatoes this year for World Book Day! So much effort has been put into creating these famous characters from books and stories. 

    We have everything from Harry Potter to Winnie the Witch, from Mr Small to Little Miss tiny and from The Gruffalo to Aliens love underpants!

  • School Donations to the Stowmarket Food Bank

    Thank you to all our families within school who so generously donated items for our 12 days of Christmas Food bank appeal. This was gratefully recieved by Stowmarket Food bank before Christmas and hopefully made some people's lives a little easier this Winter.

  • Christmas Well-being Day 2022 - 15/12/22

    We all had a fantastic day on Wednesday for our first Christmas well-being day.

    We had lots going on, junk modelling robots, festive cards and colouring with Miss Crockett and Miss Banthorpe, singing carols and Christmas songs with Mrs Douglas, stories with Mrs Borrett, orienteering with Liam, and films with Mrs Pawsey-Fuller and Mrs Lockwood.

    Plus it was Christmas Dinner day as well, a very lovely way to spend a Wednesday!

  • Recorder Concert

    The recorder club had a fantastic end of term recital in December, performing some classic pieces as well as some festive ones.

    The parents who attended were all very impressed with the professional presentation of all of the children and the improvement in their playing.

  • Our Christmas Tree

    We have been donated this beautiful tree from Alder Carr Farm and it is pride of place in our school hall this year. Our resident Festive Elves have decorated it spectacularly!

  • Be Bright, Be Seen Poster Competition

    The JRSOs would like to say a big thank you to everyone who entered the Be Bright, Be Seen, Be Safe poster competition. There were some amazing posters and it was very difficult to judge.

    The winners will be announced in the Celebration Assembly but in the meantime you can take a look at all the posters below.

    We hope the winners enjoy their prizes.

    Don't forget it's our Dress Up Brightly Day on Friday October 21st.

  • Harvest Festival Donations

    This amazing display is all of the food we took to church in October for our Harvest Festival Service. 

    Such generosity from our school community. 

    All of the items will be donated to Stowmarket Food Bank.
