In November 2021 the Eco Committee launched a competition for the children to make a creature or animal using recycleable materials, and junk modelling.
We had 20 entries! The Eco Committee were judges of who they were most impressed with and the winners were as follows
1st - Eli and her bumblebee
2nd - Isla and her whale
3rd - Georgia and her owl
Thank you to everyone who entered.
This year for Remembrance Day we held our assembly on the school field with Reverend Philip leading.
Our nuture groups in school created some beautiful stained glass effect poppies which have been up in the windows, and Birch Class made this lovely picture commemorating the fallen soldiers.
Birch Class also walked up to the church during the day to place the wreath on the memorial.
To coincide with our little school being 150 years old, we have all collaborated together to create a tea towel! All pupils and staff have drawn their faces and have been added to the tea towel. These are available to buy exclusively through parentmail, with all profits going to the PSA.
