  • World Book Day 2019

    Tue 12 Mar 2019

    World Book Day – March 7th 2019

This year we had so many of our pupils join in and dress up for World Book Day.

We had Mary Poppins, Mr Strong & Mr Happy, lots of characters from all the David Walliams books, Mr Bean, Alice in Wonderland,  Veruca Salt from Charlie & the Chocolate factory and many more!

Even Mrs Fawkner dressed up as Horrid Henry!

Many thanks to everyone for their hard work in putting costumes together and really helping us get into the spirit of the day. Thankyou to Birch class for reading to the other classes too.

All the children will have brought home their £1 book voucher, which some of you may have already spent! This can be exchanged for one of the special World Book Day books, available in most good book shops, or put towards a book of your choice. These do have a use by date on them. So please ensure you use them quick!

Between now and Easter the groups will be organising and arranging cake sales, car washing and an on site after school club amongst other things in order to make the money grow. Watch this space for more details!

  • Lego Education Tokens

Wed 06 Mar 2019 Felicity Knights

We are collecting Lego Education tokens from the East Anglian Daily Times & the Ipswich Star from now until May in a hope to win some resources for the school.

This new promotion will give primary and junior schools across the region the chance to share in £10,000 worth of LEGO Education resources, courtesy of CreativeHUT, and enjoy exclusive discounts on workshops.

We already have hundreds of tokens in so far, and would love to see more! Please hand them in to the office... and ask your friends too!
