In our school, our daily assemblies are planned to be:
·Inclusive: something for children and staff, of all faiths or of none, to be able to join in with
·Inspirational: a time in the day to think about the big questions in our lives; an occasion that supports the school community’s spiritual development, creates an opportunity to gather around and reflect on a common theme
·Invitational: children and staff are invited to pray, think, or reflect, it is the child’s choice how they respond.
These are the focuses for our Class Assemblies this half term. In Key Stage 2, children have an opportunity to lead the worship sessions themselves. On Fridays, we come together as a whole school (via a video call) to celebrate our achievements.
