Early Help

Early Help is support for children and their families which is designed to be accessed as soon as there are any concerns about a child's welfare, academic progress or health needs. It is hoped that by accessing any support available, sooner rather than later, a child and their family can benefit from this and develop strategies to overcome any difficulties they may be experiencing.

Early Help may be something offered to all children and families in school and is part of our universal offer. It may be something offered to individual children and families by school staff which is our internal offer. If additional support is necessary then we will look to sign post or refer children and families onto specialist teams and this would be an external offer.

Meeting with children and their families we will always look to see what is working well and what more we can do to support both within school and through the network of support systems available to us.

Please do reach out if you would like to speak about any concerns you may have. Mrs Friar is our Headteacher and Designated Safeguard Lead, Mr Palmer is our SENCO and Mrs Fuller is our Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA) and our Family Liaison Officer. They can all be contacted via the school office.
