Creeting St Mary CEVAP School

Anything is Possible (Mark 9 v 23)

Uniform Information

We ask that all children wear a plain blue sweatshirt, jumper or cardigan. Children in Reception to Year 4 should wear a plain pale blue polo top, with black/grey skirts, trousers or shorts and sensible safe shoes. Pupils in Year 5 and 6 should wear a pale blue shirt, with black/grey skirts, trousers or shorts and sensible safe shoes.  Blue summer dresses may be worn in the warmer months. Jeans and trainers should not be worn for school.

For P.E. we ask you to provide a plain pale blue t-shirt with black shorts, tracksuit bottoms or leggings and trainers stored in a drawstring bag.

During the colder times, children may wear warmer clothing for outdoor games and sports. These should be plain and unbranded. It is also advised that every child has a waterproof jacket in school so that in the event of a light shower they can still enjoy being out on the playground. We ask that wellington boots are left in school during the winter months for use at break times on the field.

All clothes and other property must be clearly marked with the child's name.

Schools are not allowed to permit children to wear jewellery, including studs to participate in physical activity for safety reasons. Members of staff are not allowed to remove or insert earrings. It is therefore preferable for young children not to wear them on days when they have P.E.. Long hair should be tied back at all times (girls and boys). Simple hair adornments are permitted but not large items.

For swimming each child in Key Stage 2 will need costume or trunks (no two-piece swimsuits please), a hat and towel in a named waterproof bag.
