The Ofsted Inspector visited the school on 1st March. We have now received her report and are very pleased to be able to announce that she found that the school continues to be good. The inspector speaks highly of the progress in the school since Mrs Friar's appointment and commends all the staff for their work and the good quality of the teaching. The pupils are also praised for behaving well in and around the school and being polite and courteous and very supportive of each other. You can read the whole report here
The Bishop of Bury St Edmunds & Ipswich and the Bishop of Dunwich visited the school on their Lent Pilgrimage from Dunwich to Bury St Edmunds. See their reflections on their visit. They had some wonderful things to say about what they saw at Creeting. The bishop said it was 'quite extraordinary visiting two acts of collective worship where the youngsters were very articulate, very responsive, very engaged'. He praised the way they led the worship. The Bishop of Dunwich also spoke about the 'palpable change of atmosphere' going into the classrooms, commending both the staff and the pupils.
7th February is Safer Internet Day. It is an opportunity to learn how to make the Internet a safer place for all of us. There will be some special activities in school to learn about online safety.
All Saints Road will be closed between the junction for Creeting Hills and Church Close on 6th & 7th February. This is for further repairs to the fencing on this section of the road. It means the will be no direct vehicle access from Needham Market to the school. Please allow extra time for the diversion (or walk up All Saints Road)
